March 2020: The entire world shuts down, including every barber shop for a 25 mile radius around my Washington, D.C. area home. Suddenly, it had been 3 months since I’d shaved, and I needed to learn how to care for my new beard.
Hi, I’m Austin, founder of Alpine Beard Co. I know there are millions of guys out there who, just like me, learned in the heat of COVID that it takes more than just not shaving to cultivate a stylish, comfortable beard. As I searched the marketplace for recommended beard care products, I found that one of two things was always true — either oils and balms were made with disgusting chemicals I couldn’t pronounce, or they cost an arm and a leg. So, I decided to make my own, which led to the birth of Alpine Beard Co.
I make beard care products with two goals:

High-quality, all-natural ingredients
I set out to MAKE the kind of beard products that i would want to use every day - so that’s exactly what I did.
I started with an Argan-oil base: a light weight, nourishing oil that wont irritate your skin or clog your pores. I added Jojoba oil to moisturize the skin beneath your beard, and Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and orange essential oils to provide nutrients and a long-lasting masculine scent that you’ll enjoy having next to your nose all day.
Then I moved on to formulating my balms. I used a balance of all-natural Texas beeswax, and raw, unrefined shea butter to add additional conditioning properties while protecting your beard and skin from the world outside.
The end result is a line of beard care products that are good for your beard and skin, and are made of ingredients you can actually pronounce.
Reasonably-priced products
Having a beard shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg: with Alpine Beard Co., you keep more of your hard-earned money, and we ensure you have the beard-care products you need.
The few legacy products on the market that were made with the types of ingredients I was okay with puting on my face always seemed to cost about 3-months rent… Okay, maybe not quite that much, but far more than I wanted to spend on a month’s worth of balm.
So, when I started formulating the products for Alpine Beard Co. I made it a priority to keep costs down, so I could pass those savings on to you. We can’t all be millionaires, but that doesn’t mean our beards shouldn’t look like a million bucks.
